Reptilian Revolution
Taking a concept mobile game to a production-ready standard without losing its playful energy.

Context
Reptilian Revolution is a mobile game by Herrero Games, born as a concept with a bold cartoon style and a fast-paced interface. The goal of the redesign was to raise its quality to production level.
Challenge
The original concept had personality but uneven visuals, low-contrast controls and inconsistent feedback. The redesign had to fix usability and quality across every screen while keeping the energy that made the game fun.
My role
I redefined the visual language, improved the accessibility of UI elements, redrew assets in high fidelity, and introduced a scalable design system to support future development.
Key decisions
Clear hierarchy, fewer decisions
Screens like hero selection and stages were restructured so the main action is always obvious, reducing cognitive load during fast play.
Feedback on every touch
Refined micro-interactions and responsive states confirm each action, from selecting a hero to unlocking a stage.
A system, not screens
Consistent type, spacing and iconography in a scalable design system keep new screens and events coherent.
High-fidelity assets
Characters, icons and environments were redrawn to give the game a stronger visual impact and a more immersive feel.

Outcome
A more balanced, modern and accessible game, closer to production standard, with a design system and assets ready to support future development.
- Redesigned game UI
- Design system
- High-fidelity characters, icons and environments
